Creech & Associates is collaborating with the Town of Pineville and Mecklenburg County on the new Pineville Town Hall and Library located on Main Street beside the existing Pineville Police Department. 

This new facility features the library on the first floor and the town’s administrative offices and public areas on the second floor. The library main entrance is accessed from a shared lobby that includes informal reading spaces with views to the town green, with outdoor spaces that offer a variety of experiences. The open plan provides viewshed across the entire volume and excellent visibility from the service counter.

The design is a response to the challenges in meeting current square footage needs while allowing room for growth to ensure the town’s needs are met, and designing the building to respect its surroundings as well as the historic aesthetic of the downtown.
