As one of the first major initiatives of the downtown revitalization project with the City of Kannapolis, the Atrium Health Ballpark was completed in April of 2020.

The Minor League Baseball stadium, also known as Atrium Health Ballpark, is the new home to the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers.

This new, $52-million project includes many amenities found in modern Minor League Baseball facilities such as dedicated luxury suites, outfield bar areas, dugout box seats, a picnic terrace, 6,000 SF of club/banquet space, and a seating capacity of around 5,000. It is a catalyst for re-establishing the growth of the downtown.

Creech & Associates was the local architect that collaborated with Populous, a global design firm, the architect of record.
