MOORESVILLE, NC

The Mooresville Library is a 30,000 SF addition to a 5,000 SF existing historic library.

A As the region continued to grow, the functional aspects of the original library had become obsolete. The project was challenging in that the new addition was six times the size of the existing library and still required that the existing building maintain prominence. The new building has a central reading space with a lot of filtered natural light. It also has state of the art data communication technology. The children’s library is colorful, fun, and inspiring.
