The David H. Murdock Core Laboratory Building is the largest and most important building on the NC Research Campus.

It houses a large number of flexible lab spaces suitable for intense research by start-up companies and university researchers. The building is home to a 950 MHZ NMR— the largest in the world at the time it was installed. It also houses other specialized lab and research equipment not found under one roof anywhere in the world.
