The North Carolina Research Campus is a 350-acre collection of research buildings focused on the advancement of health and nutrition.

The campus is anchored by the state of the art David H. Murdock Core Laboratory Building, which serves research buildings occupied by nine universities within the University of North Carolina system. In addition to the university partners, several corporations occupy buildings on campus. This includes Dole Foods, Data Chambers, Standard Process Center for Excellence, General Mills, Duke RTI, Carolina Healthcare Systems, Endev Laboratories, and Ideal Health Biotechnology.

Creech & Associates was the planner and architect of every building on the campus, totaling over one billion dollars in construction costs.
